Activity Logs Finding the time for physical activity is a challenge for most people. But it’s one of the most important things you can do to help maintain your weight, or lose weight and keep it off if you’re overweight. Physical activity can also help prevent heart disease and certain types of cancer, improve bone and muscle strength, and enhance coordination and flexibility. You don’t need expensive equipment or structured exercise classes to improve your fitness. Everyday activities like walking or housecleaning can help you reach your health goals. The goal is to fit at least 30 minutes of
some form of physical fitness into each day. If you find
it difficult to set aside 30 minutes during a busy day,
there’s good news. You don’t have to complete
all 30 minutes of your activity in one session. |
