What does this all mean?
A BMI calculated between 18 and 24.9 is considered to be a healthy
weight. If BMI is between 25 and 29.9, this is considered to be a category
known as overweight. A BMI above 30 implies obesity. Obesity is related to
a range
of significant health problems including diabetes, high blood pressure, heart
disease, sleep apnea, and others. If your BMI is above 25, consider visiting
your physician to learn how
you can develop a plan to manage your weight and avoid negative health problems. |
