Allergy/Asthma

The Allergy Department diagnoses and treats children and adult patients with allergies, asthma and disorders of the immune system, including hay fever, eczema, chronic sinusitis and cough, food, drug and latex allergies, venom/insect sting allergies and non-allergic nasal congestive states. They offer a variety of testing methods to diagnose the patient's illness and develop an individualized treatment plan with a focus on education and medication to control the disease. The goal is to try to prevent more serious symptoms. For patients' convenience, shot clinics are available at ten ACMC locations. Patients can establish a regular shot schedule at their home clinic, and when traveling or vacationing they can notify their shot nurse and she can call ahead to re-establish their shot schedule at any of the other ACMC clinics.
