The Department of Neurology specializes in disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, providing comprehensive evaluation of a variety of neurological problems. These include:

The physicians and nurses coordinate and manage care of adult patients in conjuction with primary physicians and other specialists. The department maintains an active electrophysiology laboratory that performs electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS). These studies investigate a wide variety of pathologic processes involving the brain, peripheral nerves and muscles. Botulinum toxin (Botox) services are also provided for a variety of conditions including dystonia, torticollis, and hemifacial spasm.
