Anesthesiology
The department of Anesthesiology provides anesthesia services within a team format that includes anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists at the Willmar Surgery Center and Rice Memorial Hospital. General and major regional anesthesia is provided for surgical patients, epidural and intrathecal analgesia for obstetrics, and epidural narcotics for thoracic and major abdominal surgery. Chronic and epidural pain management is also offered at the Willmar Surgery Center.
