Scope of Practice
Family Medicine is a medical specialty that emphasizes comprehensive medical care for families as a whole and as individual members, caring for patients from birth to advanced age.
Medical concerns are managed through diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common illnesses and chronic diseases taking into account genetics, family history and mental health. Dr. Wehseler provides pregnancy and delivery care. He also coordinates and manages patient care with other specialists.

Biography
My wife, Nancy, and I moved to Spicer from Rochester in 1998. We have enjoyed the lakes, golf courses, walking and biking trails and Sibley State Park. We have three children. My particular medical interests include obstetrics, emergency medicine and sports medicine. My professional interest is ongoing physician professional development and continuing medical education.
