Medical Director-Best Practice - Care Management
Bernell J. Mellema M.D.
Our goals in care management involves seeking system improvements
and ways to maintain and improve knowledge and information for
providers and patients alike. This allows us to maintain the
highest quality, with care delivered at appropriate cost and
easy access with optimal patient satisfaction.
The ever-increasing rate of change in many aspects of healthcare make
these goals more challenging but at the same time all the more
important. Increased use of information technology is increasing
ease of sharing information and applying guidelines involving
the latest and best practices, as well as increasing patient
safety. |
