The original ACCEL program includes 18 visits of 60-90 minutes each (1 initial evaluation, 16 sport-specific workouts, and 1 reevaluation). Ideally, training programs are 6 weeks in duration (2-3 visits per week). Training programs for some activities may require fewer weekly visits depending on the goals of the athlete. For the best results, begin ACCEL 6-8 weeks prior to the beginning of your season.
The original ACCEL program can help athletes improve speed, power, agility, and foot work.
